Moving Day Expectations
Do I have to be present during my move?
Being present isn't mandatory but highly encouraged. If you can't be there, someone over the age of 18 must be present to oversee the move and provide any needed guidance.
How long does it take for my move to finish?
You have complete control of your move. It’s very difficult for us to tell you how long your move will take as every move is different; but if there is a certain number of hours or budget that you have, communicate that to your crew leader and your crew will work for you within that time frame.Â
What happens if my stuff doesn't fit my truck?
We'll clearly list the capacity of each vehicle. If you need more space, additional vehicles can be arranged at a discounted rate.
What should I do with my pet during the move?
Moving day often brings a flurry of activity that can be stressful for pets. While it's not prohibited to have your pet present, we strongly recommend considering alternative arrangements to ensure their comfort and well-being. If your pet must be on-site, we kindly ask that you keep them secure in a designated area, such as a kennel or a separate room, to prevent any interference with the movers' work and to avoid potential accidents.
What happens when the weather is bad?
We prioritize safety and closely monitor weather conditions. Rest assured, we'll promptly communicate any concerns or necessary adjustments to ensure a secure and stress-free move.
Can you get stuff from the attic?
We're able to assist you if your attic has a solid floor, usually made of plywood. However, if your attic isn't finished, our team won't be able to help you due to safety reasons. Thank you for understanding.
