Please make sure you ask the movers to remove their shoes or wear shoe covers. I only utilized Ameritex to move a few items that I couldn't do on my own, and the team that helped me were nice, but one of them had shoes that looked like they were falling apart because there now black marks on my newly installed floor and carpets. Also whomever answers the phone is hot trash. They acted like I made the details of my move up after receiving a call confirming the exact details of the move. My move was scheduled from 8-11, with an expected arrival time between 7-8. I called a little after 9 to see where the movers were after receiving confirmation that they'd arrive by 835, and I was told that the 8-11 scheduled move, was the estimated arrival window like they were AT&T. Not a huge fan, and won't be a returning customer. I also believe that they didn't accurately record the time by stating that they arrived about 15 minutes earlier than they did.

They damaged my end table that cost $378 dollars . Had the nerve send me a check for $24.68 cents stating 0.60 per pound . That is very disrespectful that don’t even cover getting fixed or replaced. The lady was rude on the phone . They damaged people stuff and don’t want to pay . Do not use them if you do get full coverage insurance. That’s insane they damaged my fire place as well but I didn’t add that to claims due to the fact I had cracked parts on the bottom . They damaged it some more . Please look around before using them . They don’t want to pay for damages items .

Brand new tv was damaged and the first rep I spoke to had an attitude when I reported it. Customer care took their time reaching out and when they finally finished my claim there was no follow up email. They sent a check for $29. I reached back out saying that $29 would not replace a $500 tv that was in mint condition before the movers touched it. They did not respond. I will never use them again because the insurance for damaged property is how they sold me on booking with them. Not to mention some of their drivers WILL STEAL YOUR BELONGINGS. My $129 plant mysteriously disappeared during the move and since I didn’t see them take it I couldn’t say anything. I was told by the girl that booked my move that they have had internal issues with drivers stealing peoples stuff.

Zero stars. Do not recommend. The movers were unprofessional and so are some people that work in the office. The people in the office essentially lied about what could be done during the move which caused issues during the actual move. The movers ended up leaving a lot for me to do myself and conveniently, the people in the office aren't answering my calls nor emails. They are truly the worst. DO NOT BOOK with them. And do not comment and tell me to call you because I did. I was hung up on and no one answered when I called back. Nor did you reply to my email.

Our move went pretty smoothly considering moving is always such a pain. Our arrival window was 8-10 am and the guys showed up at 10. The company sends you text messages to confirm when they are on the way and when they arrive. Both guys were super professional, courteous and friendly. They took care of our furniture and communicated the whole time. It took longer than we thought but I think that is on us, underestimating how much stuff we had and how long it took to wrap gentle pieces. We will be using this company again but requesting Mello and Julian.

I can't even say how awesome the crew from ameritex was. Gilbert and Larry's crew were phenomenal. Very professional. No wall dings / scratches for everything put together BETTER than at my old house. It took a long time but they stayed with and hustled and got it done. 0 complaints only love. Big shoutout to Richard, Neco and Jimmy. These gentlemen moved my 3rd floor apartment to my new house. Very professional mindsets and these guys have an outstanding customer service. Even while Richard was coaching/teaching on how to avoid damaging any of the bigger items on the really narrow stairs they stayed moving in a very productive manor. Took the move less time than I expected and for that I’m thankful cause it saves me money as a bi product. Definitely would recommend

Ameritex movers was recommended by a good friend. I spoke to a wonderful lady named Sky who gave me a quick honest and fair quote and was able to help me schedule my move in a matter of days. I received spectacular service from Tyrus and Tyrell specifically who where very polite, efficient and fast. The whole team did a great job of communicating with me and answering every possible question I could come up with. I've never had such a great experience with a moving company like this one and will definitely use and recommend their services again in the future. I can honestly say my move was smooth, seamless and stress free.

I was calling moving companies to get pricing and called Ameritex and was given a price of $303.00 to move my belongings from a one bedroom apartment to a 55+ apartment one bedroom apartment. I'm a senior citizen and on social security benefits, when it was all completed the movers charged me $490.00. The movers did not have any tools to take apart the bed and had to use my tools for it. I was told they would be at my apartment at 9am, but were 30 minutes late. I was told in emails there was a 3 hour window. I was never told this at all, and will never use this company again. Falsely giving out incorrect quotes.

Ameritex was hired by Declan Apartments to pack and move my sister Gloveland Miller to another apartment complex. This was due to the building was found to have structural damage.Once moved in the new location we found many of the belongings were missing. Over $700.00 of item was gone. From cook & bake ware, surround equipment etc. They blamed the apartment complex not people they hired to pack the things. The insurance will charge a $500.00 deductible. It isn’t worth the filing.Just recently, I looked for my checkbook at my sister’s apartment and found that it is missing. It was in her drawer along with a few other things that was missing. I had to contact my bank to make sure that none of my money was missing. They have put an alert on my account to make sure that no one is able to get money out of my account.Ameritex workers were the only ones that packed my things. So it was possibly taken by one of their people.Do not use this company.They are thieves.

I hired 2 moving crews from this company because we had both a storage unit and an entire house that needed to be moved. Both crews were very professional, courteous and worked very hard to get it done in the shortest amount of time possible. I'd definitely use them again. Tyrell's crew moved me locally about 20 miles. The move was complicated as I was totally unorganized. The Ameritex Team did not let that deter them! The move was further complicated as I had to identify which items coming off of the truck went inside the home and which items went to storage. I had used Amertex in a long haul move from Houston to Ft Worth last January and chose them again for this local move. I was NOT disappointed. You cannot go wrong with Ameritex!
